This will be their third meeting in the qualifiers, with Offaly having won by 4-15 to 0-10 in 2003 and by 0-17 to 1-7 in 2016, both in Tullamore. Offaly, who lost in the Leinster first round to Meath, beat Antrim in the opening round of last year’s qualifiers before losing to Clare in Round 2. London, eliminated from this year’s Connacht championship by Galway, lost to Louth in Round 1 of last year’s qualifiers. London last won a qualifier game in 2011, beating Fermanagh by six points in Ruislip.
Offaly are 1/8 with Boylesports to win this match and London are best price 7/1 with Betway. All firms go 14/1 on the draw.
Have to say I was astonished to see Offaly could be backed at -6 with Boylesports, this looks one of the bets of the year. Just couldn’t see this lasting long.
There is no betting on the total points and it might be worth a look as Offaly could kick a big score, so maybe Offaly’s total points is the market to watch. If you can get over 20pts it would be a super bet.
It’s expected to be a very nice afternoon, so expect lots of scores.
No team news, but we should have plenty by Friday morning.
2017 Offaly 0-17 London 1-7 (All Ireland Qualifiers)
2003 Offaly 4-15 London 0-10 (All Ireland Qualifiers)

Summations of the betting
Not many bookies have priced this up, but the handicap of Offaly -6 looks a savage bet and should be got on as soon as possible, football is more important than hurling in Offaly at the moment so expect a huge performance this weekend. (Wednesday 10:30am)
